lowriderphil Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 (edited) Started this one close to 3 years ago, and as of 3:00 this morning I got the bug to pull off the shelf. Picked up some modelhaus tires in toledo but can't decide which to use. T110 in the front and T170 in the rear. I used a 64 impala interior and chassis to update this old girl. I'm thinking a slight forward rake with some bellflower style exhaust pipes Edited October 23, 2010 by lowriderphil
W-409 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Looking good so far, paintjob is very nice and I like those tires and wheels too! I'll be wathing this for sure!
lowriderphil Posted October 16, 2010 Author Posted October 16, 2010 I felt the need to add extra flakes to the roof.
Terror Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Thats lookin sharp,Phil. The gray roof is kinda becoming a trademark for you, looks sweet.

davyou5 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 That paint job looks great! I bet you are feeling better now that you can start the project up again.
lowriderphil Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 I remembered that I put it up due to the interior and chassis was missing pieces, but I recently found my box of spare impala parts from around 3-5 impalas so I should be able to move forward
Terror Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 thats cause I love the flake in a can from duplicolor It does look cool.Is that just flake or is it in with the gray?Might pick some of that up myself.Keep at it those colors really pop.

lowriderphil Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 Started to fit the impala interior, I need to trim about 3/32" from the package tray. Hopefully modelhaus offers glass for this one
lowriderphil Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Won't the 64 Chevy glass fit? back glass is fine but front doesn't line up properly
lowriderphil Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 got my ride height set this morning, maybe a hair higher in the back
DRG Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 I have never been a fan of low rider type cars and to me the bigg wheels are nuts. However, I must admit it's looking good. No offense is intended, I'm old school.
