Crazy Ed Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Fujimi has repopped the Modelers Chaparral 2D kit. So although not a Cheap Kit it's less than what I've seen these go for on E-Bay!! http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ12389 Now if only someone'd repop the Cox Chaparral 2, the Formula Canada 2G and Bill Jorgensens Chaparral 2K..... - Hey I'm allowed to Dream, Right Ed

elan Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Looks to be a little more detailed than the Monogram version (which I've already built). It seems to have a lot of potential for detailing. Now lets's see what it goes for in a couple of months.
935k3 Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I built the Modeller's kit which I was lucky to get for $20.00 at the Watkins Glen library. It is a curbside with some interior details. The wheels are beautifully molded with open spokes. There are metal parts for the rearview mirrors and the gas filler caps(which I hear the Fujimi version has also). Here is a pic of mine.

I gave the Kit a "semi curbside" because it has the top half of the engine there if you want to wire it. There's really not much more interior detail to add to the 2D. Some indicatior lamps on the "Dash", a T-handle under it and several lamps and switch's in the square area to the right of the Steering Wheel. Ed
