1985 Ferrari 288 GTO

This kit was a bit of a pain to put together, but it looks good. The only thing I didn't like is the way the wheels look. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like the wheels are a bit too big for this body, B) but that's what the kit came with so I put it together. Besides that, the body came out looking really good.

I agree that the tires are quite out of place. The size and tread depth and pattern are not exactly 288GTO stuff.

The effect could have been lessened if the wheels were brought in and up into the wheel-wells. I.E. lowering and tucking.

Just my 2 cents

I love the 288 GTO. A 308 on steroids. I saw one at the last USGP. Parked next to a mid 80s Testarossa - with a crowd around both. Quite a sight!
