h3ae86 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) This is my 2nd model build. I finished this back in February or March. My dad bought this kit for me. It's Revell's '68 dodge charger special edition 2 n 1. I like this kit because the 68 charger is my absolute favorite out of all the cars of the muscle car era. This kit was also a real pain for me to build and i ended up spending an extra 20 dollars to finish it. My first time spray painting a model was a complete disaster. I was using a cheap paint and destroyed it for the most part. I ended up ordering a new body from revell. The body your seeing is the new one and it isn't painted except for the stripe. The interior was another fun part. I had just finished putting it together and was taking a nap and my dog must have snuck in and stole it because i woke up and found him chewing on it. I guess you could say I'm using the excuse "my dog ate my model" and I ended up ordering that from revell to. But I did eventually get it finished after alot of frustration, and I like how it turned out. I did manage to save the original body and I'm planning on taking a viper engine and other parts and making a psychotic drift missile. But that will have to wait until I can get a viper kit and another charger kit. Edited October 25, 2010 by h3ae86
Railfreak78 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Nice! You don't see these in white very often. The Chargers get done a lot but I never get tired of seeing them.

davyou5 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Looks great actually! Good job on that ! I am just wondering what happened to mine, I see that yours is sitting level, but for some reason the one I did has the front end sitting alittle high? and I can't figure that one out.

I'm not sure why it's not level. Mine must sit differently because I used different wheels and tires that weren't from the kit. But yours looks great anyways.
