DWR Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Once I got back into modeling I decided that one project I wanted to undertake was a Datsun Z car drag car. Does anyone know what might be a good doner kit for the chassis? I will be using the Revell Datsun 240Z kit for the body. I believe that the Revell Pro Sportsman kits chassis would be too big so I was think perhaps the AMT Twister Vega kit or maybe the AMT Fire? Mustang. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions? Thank you
John Pol Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 The Revell Corvette pro street comes to mind or the J2000 kit. John Pol
Kris Morgan Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Ditto what John said. You might also try the Revell Beretta pro street kit. The chassis in all three kits are very close, if not the exact same thing.
kylexgore Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) i would try using amt's '66 pro street nova. both amt's nova and revell's datsun are the same scale. http://cgi.ebay.com/AMT-Parts-1966-Nova-Pro-Street-Chassis-Wheelie-Bars-/370446139993?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56404f8259 Edited October 31, 2010 by kylexgore
