Ford Escort RS 1800 mk I

Hi Again,

This is a Ford Escort RS 1800, an old kit from revell. I changed the wheels with 20" BBS wheels from Aoshima and added seat belts.

The paint is a combination of black and mica silver from tamiya.

Cool street machine! But it's a Mk2. Mk1 is more rounded, and I've only seen some done in resin.

my only concern would be that it appears the license plates are swiss but the country sticker is austrian ?

(i could be wrong, its been a while since i was last in that neck of the woods)

I've five unbuilt copies of this kit, just waiting until I get time to replicate the colour schemes my 1/1 cars had in UK rallying! Just one small point, the front bumpers are on the wrong sides - the indicators sit at the bottom of the part. Nice paint.
