Hondo Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 (edited) While we're on "older builds" for a bit........ I know many of you have seen this one I did a couple years ago. I don't think I posted it here. Super Brut Firebird of Al Segrini, mid '1980s. Late Revell chassis, Comp Resins body, tires & wheels. Edited November 8, 2010 by Hondo
W-409 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Nice build! Very good colour, nice decals and they are fitting very nicely! Good job with details also, very nice project, like that car. It's very nice in Funny Car, don't like it in original but that doesn't matter at all. Nice job with it! Airfix has made the Burnout Bird, seventies Pontiac Funny Car. That is pretty good kit, the same kit is built by MPC also. It's same box and kit is same too, I think. There is only MPC logo... Then MPC has made Nitro Bird. That's same kit, I think that Burnout Bird, but there is body like this. It's quite un usual but... I have that Burnout Bird. Your model looks good anyways!
brett Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Think I have seen it before Jim but I wont tire of looking at it, great job again
AZ Boy Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Man, Jim...That's just outstanding dude! Nice pics of this one that I hadn't seen before. Great attention to detail on this build. Plus, you picked a subject car that doesn't get built much. Great job buddy! Aaron
Hondo Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks, guys. Aaron, I like to do the ones that are a little lesser done. Too many ideas, so little time............. Gotta finish this Arrow now.
