The 4 black engines are all AMT, looks to be 2 Nailheads from the '40 Ford Coupe, the Flathead may be from the same kit, but might be from the '39/40 Sedan or the Sedan Delivery version, kind of hard to tell for sure. Another posability is that it's from the '32 Coupe, would need to see the heads (bolt count is different) to be sure. The Smallblock Chevy in the back with the 6 carbs is from the AMT '32 Ford Coupe.

Bottom left is the Dodge Hemi from the original AMT Ala Kart kit. The axle hole engines are from '60's AMT 3 in 1 kits. The 4 cylinder, center bottom is the stock '29 Model A engine from the Ala Kart kit with the OHV conversion. I'm pretty sure Bill got the other engines correct.

i am not so sure that bottom left motor is from the alakart, and definately the ala kart didnt come with that induction setup.

heres an ala kart motor i just built:

i didnt show it, but the trans is really not very engraved like the one shown is...i wish it were more detailed like that!

but man thats a great little stash for the future!

William, your Ala Kart engine is from the '90's new tool kit, the engine in question is from the original '60's Double Kit tooling which built an Ala Kart and a '29 Model A roadster. And I agree with Dave that the 2 axle hole engines look like Ford FE's from AMT 3 in 1 kits.

You can just make out the Dodge lettering on it. It was a Dodge Red Ram Hemi. I believe it was the only one ever kitted. It's a very cool engine.

oh. i stand corrected then. i thought the reissue (which the motor i showed certainly is from) was just like the original, but obviously not. i would have preferred those dodge valve covers to be honest.

thanks for the corrections.
