DRG Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 For the past several weeks I have been unable to get on the Model cars Magazine Forum at all. Every time I would attempt to get on this site my web browser would tell me, unable to load page. I checked every thing I could think of trying to repair the problem. During that time I joined two of the other sites and started looking for names that I thought might be a member of this Forum. I actually found several and contacted them asking for assistance. Finally I was able to make contact with harry and he told me to shut down my modem and computer and reboot everything. That did not work. He then suggested I download Firefox and see if that worked. I did that and also shut everything down and rebooted and here I am. I would have thought Internet Explorer was being updated constantly but it isn't. My entire problem was caused by an out dated Internet Explorer. Thankfully it was that simple. And thankfully we have Administrators here that actually care. Oh, those other sites. Nothing wrong with them but they aren't Model Cars Magazine Forum.
MikeMc Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Harry will always try....He does make it fun here. I do not agree with the standard Firefox answer, as I use IE8, and do NOT have issues.I just like IE8 better Than Chrome or Mozilla. Keep things current and use a good security program. You can also go to a Mac....got one of those too Glad your back!! :D
