FASTBACK340 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 In another thread it was suggested a thread be started asking the membership what THEY are thankful for? I had posted a few things that improved for my family and I acknowledged that I was indeed thankful. Times have been rough for many in the past 2 years. No matter what, there must be something that's happened for you that could be something your thankful for. Please share

High octane Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 You bet I'm thankful! I'm RICH in many ways and I thank God for ALL the blessings I have received. I used to smoke, drink, have money problems, and all that good stuff. Not anymore, and no I'm not finacially wealthy either. I have ALL the model car kits I will ever build and then some, and I'm thankful to be on a forum like this with a great bunch of guys with an awful lot of building talent. I hope that all of you have a Happy Thanksgiving and count your blessings as things could be a lot worse.
whale392 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I am thankful for my families health (even though they and I are seperated by 1000 miles). I am thankful to have my brothers and sisters in arms serving to keep our lives protected. I am thankful for small things like eyes to see sunsets, lungs to draw a fresh breath, and my own general health. I am thankful that there are others who listen and understand; and I am most thankful that there is someone looking down on me and keeping me in HIS thoughts.
walt francis Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I am thankful for my sons dreams of becoming a paid fireman came true...that made my year.
Peter Lombardo Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 That is easy, I am thankful for a wonderful family that is all healthy, two great children, the best wife that anyone could possible wish for and last but certainly not least, a beautiful happy and healthy new grandson. I can't wait to start teaching him golf....modeling would be nice too, but I want to get him into golf, since I couldn't get my son into it.
Railfreak78 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I'm thankful for my wife and kids, family, my pets, my car that always gets me to a lousy job but I'm thankful for my lousy job. It's still better than nothing. I'm thankful God takes care of me. I'm thankful for all of you on the board and the great people in my model car club that share a passion like me and allow me to get better at the hobby that relaxes me in life.
