935k3 Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) This one is done. It's Aoshima's Nissan Impul Turbo Silhouette. The kit is a pretty old mold and it shows. Some of the parts were very poorly molded. The decals were very brittle and wanted to chip allot. All in all it came out pretty good and it is pretty cool racecar from the group 5 era. Brendan Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Nice build on a tough kit to do. I built the red version of it. I know exactly what you're talking about regarding parts that are not molded well. Always liked the Silhouette cars. One question for you. What color did you use for the silver on the interior? And by the way, the interior looks awesome.

And by the way, the interior looks awesome. Thanks, what is the sponsor version on the red one. I thought the red is only the Skyline versions like the factory car and the Coke car(which I wish I had.) I primed the interior with Tamiya fine primer due to some wok that it needed. Than a coat of TS-14. Then some TS-17 which didn't look bright enough so I sprayed a couple of coats of Alclad chrome over that. It looks just about right for the sheet aluminum tub on this car and the Alclad seems to stick pretty well to it.
