Tale of two Chevy's

[Starliner Kustoms]

Well normally I don't post here. I usually wait till my projects are finished then post. But,times change I guess. Anyway, Hope to have these done before Christmas. Not for gifts just piece of mind.

The first is a 51 Chevy kustom. Painted Testers One coat purple and white pearl. This is the second time I have used this paint and must say I'm pretty pleased.

The second is AMT's 67 Chevy. This one is painted Duplicolor Champaigne Pearl with Tamiya Clear. Both cars are about half to 3/4 the way finished. As you can see they are only mocked up at this point. Hope to get the 67 a bit lower.So,wish me luck and look for them in the Under Glass section when finished. Till then happy modeling!

That's a nice pair of Chevy's Bernie! Love the colours. I must agree with the Testers One coat purple and the white being easy to use. I used them on a '49 Ford and they looked nice.

And you say these aren't finished yet? Nice job mate.

Thanks guy's. Tom yeah the 51 needs the rest of the trim done,motor and chassis. the 67 needs motor, chassis and body details. While it's not much trying to find the time is. Oh well.
