sno_man80 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Heres the start to my Revell Ford Duallie, so far this is turning out to be my favorite build, with over 135 pieces and major detail I would recommend it to anyone. Sorry for the ###### pics I had to use my web cam, this weekend I'll have more pics with more progress and I'm going to attempt to polish it after the paint had a few days to set.
Guest roadkill2525 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 is that the reissued Monogram kit in 1:24?
sno_man80 Posted March 7, 2007 Author Posted March 7, 2007 not sure about reissued, but it is the monogram, sorry the color is bad, better pics this weekend.
Bigjeepzz Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 The color is looking good. Can't wait to see the updated pics. Jake
sno_man80 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Heres a better pic of the cab, I'm still working on the bed panels, I'll post those sometime Monday night hopefully.
dukeaholic Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 nice build!!! I made a monster truck with mine!!
sno_man80 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 My original plan with this is to make the truck and a matching 65 Mustang that I would customize into a pro street that this truck would pull it on a trailor. As I build this I realize I may go for a second build as I'm learning things I should have dne differently or just other things I'd like to add to it. I'd love to see the monster truck though.
dukeaholic Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 here you go!! the side mirrors fell apart a bit. I used the old bigfoot suspension on the original frame of the truck. This truck was accualy the gone fishing kit. It cam with a trailor and a bass fishing boat. I'm thinking of cutting the wheelwells a bit wider.
sno_man80 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Thats a great build though, I lied and I'm going to post the updated pics now the truck. I will be rebuilding this project that I'm planning on. As you can see the bed of the truck and the cab of the truck are slightly different in paint. The exact colors were used only at a different time. I want to build this with the customized mustang pro street on a trailer. Next time I build I'm going to paint each at the same time to get the best paint results. But here it is.... I've learned alot from this site and builing this model, now I know how to make it better next time, even though I have a ways to go on this one!!
