Barbo Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Hi..this is my Diorama, tribute to TRON the movie....Barbo
Dr. Cranky Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Oh man, that's fabulous. It reminds me of the great work of Roger Yu. You really hit a homerun with this one. Can you tell us a little bit more about it, the vehicle, the figures . . . ?
GTMust Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I agree with the Doc, even though I have no idea what a "Tron" is. (Must be getting old!) Love the accessories, especially the guy leaning on the jack. Where did they come from?
vaughn Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Now thats a tribute! Well done. But I'm with the others.....give us some info.
Jim B Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Neat dio. Tron actually came out in 1982: TRON
vaughn Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Very aware of when the original movie came out and so on. Was just curious about the model.
Jim B Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I've never seen the original. I wanted to back in the day. Was it any good? I tried requesting it on Netflix, but they don't have it yet.
vaughn Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 It was a first of its kind then. And at that time one of my favs. as was J. Bridges. This one ought to be cool, bringing him back in as he was then and as he is now. But still, the vehicle....pretty cool.
Clay Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Neat dio. Tron actually came out in 1982: TRON Correction this movie is Tron Legacy
Barbo Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 Hi....this Diorama is made out of matboard, foamboard and balsa. The figures are from Motorheads4u as George says. The workshop accesories are from Mobile Mechanic Series and the Light Cycle from the new movie Tron Legacy is designed by Spin Master and Disney sold at Walmart. The Cycle realy lights up just like in the movie. The photo at the rear of the wall is from the real Cycle..Thanks for all your comments...Barbo
