Body is from Flash Point Resin and the wheel are a set of aluminum centerlines I cut up and added Comp resin centers. The centerlines that I cut up are from Scale Repros

thanks Chuck

It would be cool if you sent a pict of the wheels to Scale Repro. Maybe they could start making kits with the alum rim and different resin centers. That would be VERY COOL.

Killer work on the wheels. If somebody started makin wheel sets like that, I'd be in for a couple sets! I've been itchin to do something different with a 1/16 Funny car so I'm definitely watchin this one.

Jim Littiken on the forum here (micro nitro) makes some really cool 1/16 drag wheels for funny cars and such, out of aluminum. His work is top quality too!

After doing some measurements on the Camaro I found out that the body was done for a 120 inch wheel base car. The real Camaros were 118 inch so I took out 3/16 of an inch in front of the windsheild and the front end was to narrow so I added 3/16 of an inch to the front tapered down to zero in the back .Here are some pics of it roughed in . I may have to cut the roof section off and slide it forward an 1/8 of an inch also , I need to do so more measuring first.

Well I finally have all the body panels moved where I want them now come the sanding , filling and blending the the body will be done . This body might get recasted because I don't want to do this again.
