Steve H. Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Matt's Hot Rods have a way of inspiring people... Go with the blown motor in the 2nd pic... Its way over the top for a street car, but ain't that what its all about? 8)
B.Beachum Posted March 10, 2007 Author Posted March 10, 2007 Good in there too ,I have 2 1/16 427 Ford Cammers 1 blown and 1 Injected,I'm using 1/16 minicraft kit for the frame,...for Matt I was going to paint it HoK Lime Gold, Tint the windows light lime Green, and do some kind of Day Glo Red paint with a Day Glo Red grill support.I think those big fat rear rims will look good in Lime Green they might need a beauty ring ,The 427 Cammer might look something like this 1 when finished Thanks, Barry Beachum
ratrodder Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Is that the wheels from the37 ford panel, widened in the rear or what are they. I like your build. Looking great. What are your finishing plans? ratrodder doug
Steve H. Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I didn't realize that was a 1/16th... Duh  Here's one I built back around 1990, kitbashed the Revell coupe and Funny car parts...
Matt T. Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Glad to see a hot rod coming out of Portsmouth! No matter the color, it's gonna look mean. E-mail me if you need any tips on lowering the nose. Let the paint fly...
B.Beachum Posted March 14, 2007 Author Posted March 14, 2007 Talking to you soon,it don't have to pull weeds but the nose needs to come down ,Yes colors are still open,...I was working on the frame last nite, and I have got to finish the rear wheel wells,...I'm actually thinking tinted windows with some clean nice and wet looking paint and Detailed motor ,...maybe a pinstripe Thanks, BarryBeachum
