MikeMc Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Sure.......NOT!!!! As a Blue Oval man...I do not care for many bowties..this roofline is killer though... Started with the front, moved the A arms up to the top of the frame, dropping things nicely only a couple of cuts needed in the rear, cut the "springs" and C notched the frame Now we are starting to get the right stance..didn't want these wheels, but easier to use these than cut the middle crossmember...

MikeMc Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 Whatever happened to the yellow you were going to use on the ford? It is also speaking loudly......I ran out of red on the last one..I know what I want...just working on the colors..... But I loved that Blue on the 50.... :D
Clay Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Dont ya just hate running out of paint in the middle of a build?
MikeMc Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Well it looks like I hit a stopper..the hood fit was past bad, So Revell is sending me a new hood...should be here early this week. In the meantime the spoons got a workout on color. I shot the 2 primary colors on spoons with a white base for the sunrise pearl, but the Red was shot over both white and black....Hmmmm gives me an idea Note All spoons have same number of coats ..primer, base and clear
Nick Winter Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Looks like a fun project. I like that yellowy orange spoon, it's a not often seen color.
