Started this one a couple weeks ago.

Shaved the trim, gutters, and handles and molded the front and rear pans to the body.

Used the kit wheels and the whitewalls are from a 59 or 60 Impala kit.

Thanks guys. I am debating on whether or not to chop the top... just a little nervous on that...

Got a little more done on this. Started working on the motor. Still gotta wire it up, but I should have that done in the next day or so....Thanks for looking

Or you can remove the top,and get the chopped windshield,and "carson top" from the 49 ford Convertable kit,and do this.The "V" angle at the rear of the hood HAS to be the 49 Merc...the 49 ford is different,so you just move your "cut" line rearward to keep the same hood line. You can see it in the first pic if you look close.The rest matched right up nice.

Ron, those are sweet builds man.... I like the one with the carson top alot...

Got some interior work done... Getting ready to finish up the bodywork and get it in primer....
