GTMust Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Very interesting. As 1/8" - 1'0" is 1/96 scale for architectural models, where did you get the cars? Or are they HO model railway (1/87) scale? Is this model part of your professional work? Tony
Barbo Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) Hi..GTMust...yes this is a professional model for a client. As I said ,it is a preliminary model. It will have more details in a final model once we finish the construction drawings. The model is in architectural scale 1/8"=1'-0" and in metric scale 1/96, for model train scale would be HO. The cars are 1/87 wich is the most closest scale. They are from the company Model Collection, I got them in Walmart for $1.00 each. modeltruckmafia Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Very Nice work. My Ex wife lived in South Beach and I spent alot of time there. This will defiantly fit in right on Alton Road. charlie8575 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Interesting building, and I'll bet it'll be a pretty penny to lease, too. Charlie Larkin
High octane Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Great job and the building came out lookin' real good. The heliport looks to be on the small side from the ones I have seen.
