GM Resto Packs for Chevrolet

This was posted over on Stovebolt.com, and might of interest to those building '00 or older Chevrolets, either 1:1 or scale models. They cover pretty much every model of Chevrolet back to at least 1930, with all variants and options listed, with the exeption of the few specialty cars, like the COPOs and Black Widow. This is all direct from GM.

Wow, that is beyond Awesome refrence, it's perfect refrence, great info, Only wish it was for all GM brands though.

Currently reading page 12 of 85 for the '67 Vette

I think they're planning to do all of them, just Chevrolet has the highest demand, so it got put on the site first. I do know they offer them for the other brands, but you have to provide a VIN to get them.

Now if Ford and Chrysler would do something like this...

I'd love it for GMC and Pontiac, would never have to google for hours again.

The GM library is where you would call with the Vin# of the car that you was doing. You would get two packs, 1 was the way your car was order and how it was done and how many of them like it was built. 2nd pack was of all color, eng combo and every thing how that car could be built and how many of each was done. The 2nd pack would also cover like (Monte carlo) 1970 to 72 body style. and so on, Back in 2006 was the last time you could get the packs as every thing was either down sized or trashed canned that was not making money. You never paid for nothing, even shipping cost was cover by GM.

Too bad it's high-contrast black-and-white, color pictures, especially of the interiors, would've been very helpful, but the information itself is ABSOLUTE PURE GOLD.

THANK YOU!
