Nova-ss Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 hi All, This is a Willys drag car that raced awhile back.I bought the kit I like it and wanted to do it the black version not the blue.I have a few pictures of the real car from the net.so I;m trying to build it the way it was.I've got this much done so far.The body is dusty,I should have washed it before I took pictures but the next time in a day or two it will be washed.I have a blower drive for it and need to get seat belts of that era.thanks,Chris
sjordan2 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Did you make the decals or are they aftermarket? They're outstanding.
moparmagiclives Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I like that one better than the light blue, the lettering never really stood out to me on it. Great start. I've still never had the nerve to start one of the 4 willys I've gotten so far
moparmagiclives Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Oh, and I like the body stand, you need to break out the air brush and wood grain the sucker...
Kanedge Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Good start, the black version is so much better with the gold lettering.
