The Modeling Hermit Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) I don't know how many kits there are out there with "6" cylinder engines in them, but I would like to suggest some sort of a "6" build off. I just think that it would be kind of fun to see subjects such as a 34 Ford Coupe or a Bucket T with a 6 instead of the expected 8. How about a 66 Impala with a blown stovebolt? Is this something that would interest anybody? Edited January 24, 2011 by Kodiak Island Modeler
Guest Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Funny you should mention that. I'm building a '65 GTO right now and had the OHC 6 from the '69 Firebird out. I wanted to make a Tempest out of it,but didn't feel like making all of the changes necessary,so it's going to remain a GTO. I've never built a model with a 6 cylinder in it. I would be interested in doing one definitely.

Guest Markus355 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 revells 41 chevy, and galaxie's 48 chevy kits both come with good stovebolt engines.
moparmagiclives Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 I always liked the mid 50's chev pick up (amt i think) inline 6. It looks pretty detailed I think. When will this start?
Drgon63 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 in the process of building a 25 with a blown 6... also love the six thing like my 65 chevy p/u with a turbo 6.
diymirage Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 im pretty sure i got a inline 6 from some import in the parts box supra maybe?
The Modeling Hermit Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 It sounds like there is some interest here. If there's enough I'll suggest a buildoff to the forum powers. I don't want to step on anybody's authority.
my name is nobody Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I guess I could dust off this old Honda kit and build up a replica of a motorcycle I once owned:
