kizzy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 can any one tell me how to make the highlighted piece
High octane Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Kenneth, It looks like the front mounting plate for the engine and can be make with Evergreen or Plastruct plastic stock about 0.020 if I not mistaken. I hope this helps.
SuperStockAndy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 The fuel block? It looks pretty simple to make with sheet styrene. You should also drill holes where the fuel lines go to hold them in better. Hope this helps
brett Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Kenneth ,check out my buildups here http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v392/awesome55/doorslammers/works%20in%20progress/ not so much nitrous stuff (but one on the bench at the moment), but a bit of stuff that might help you out.
Dom87SS Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 for the fuel block get a piece of square tube styrene and a piece of styrene rod and cut each to length. cap off the box ends with sheet styrene and glue the rod piece to one end of it. attach those "fittings" to it and your done.
SuperStockAndy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Wow, Dave, everyone has been asking how you do your engines!
kizzy Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 thx a bunch guys and thx bret i got e mails a while ago from u for the nitrous lines
camarobuilder Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 If you don't want to fab one up, Pro tech has afuel distribution block ,which has molded on fittings. While you're on their site, I would highly pecommend many of their other products. My link Frank
