I'd like to say ( in no disregard ) that your off to a good start in model building. Hang around here and see what people do in the work bench section and you will learn a lot of simple things that will go a long way to make models look really good. A couple things I'd point out here is some small stuff like a black wash on the grill would look nice, and when a hood will not sit right, you can sand it down a touch so it fits.
