roadhawg Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Lately I've been trying to stay away from building competition type cars, one reason being I hate assembling those photoetch seat belts. My ol' arthritic hands and fingers just won't bend in the positions required for those things, but I recently started a project that, as bad as I hate it, will need competition seat belts. I saw somewhere awhile back that someone offers those things pre-made, but I can't remember who.....anybody know? Or was I dreaming?
Jon Cole Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I agree... there must be a market for these. I bought the following at the Southwest Challenge way back in 1992! Notice the vendor didn't put any info on the card...
roadhawg Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 Well, crud.......thats EXACTLY what I want.
Trae Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I remember seeing those as well, many years ago. But I found this site after a little searching: http://www.slixx.com/cover.htm No pics, but part number OTH-SB may be what you're looking for. Give 'em a call, it may be a long shot, but you never know ...
Raul_Perez Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 You can get them printed on cloth from Scale Modeling by Chris. I bought some several years ago to see how they look. They're OK if you want the general look but don't want to build them yourself... Later,
