Plug & Plate Chrome plating kit

Hello!

I recently photo etched some parts, using brass sheet. Many of them have to be chromed. So I need some kind of crome plating kit.

I woul be glad to read your opinion about it. Is it worth the money?

I hav'nt done any chroming but for $50.00 its worth a shot.

If I had the money I'd try it.

from reading the discription, it will not plate plastic or, resin. Which I assume would be an issue for most of us.

Yes, I guess it for brass (cooper) photo etch only. For example I made photo etched parts from sheet bass (bumper, grill, etc). Now I need to cover it with firm chrome layer.

There are some cavities, that should be painted black after that.

So, nobody tried plating set like this?

Anything can be chrome plated,
