Nick W. Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I was wondering. What would be the best size plastic rod to make 1/18 scale tin cans? I am getting married in august, and for a center piece to the main table, I am making a just married diorama!
vaughn Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Conrats, and good luck ! A regular food can measures approx. 3" in diameter by 4.25" long. So according to scale conversion that would be .17" by .24". So I guess a 1/16" to 1/8" rod would work. Good luck.
