MicroNitro Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I made these for a customer they are 1/6 scale in the for ground is a set of 1/16 scale and 1/25 scale.
jeffs396 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Simply BEAUTIFUL Jim!!! Now, can you machine me a set of 1:1 rims for my Chevy HHR?
MicroNitro Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 Those were the biggest wheels I have ever made. They are 2.850" dia and 2.750" wide the lath and mill had three hours of run time on them.
Casey Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 (edited) I think you could've said the two in the foreground are 1/6 and 1/16 and the background wheels are 1:1 and we wouldn't have known any better. Absolutely beautiful work. Edited March 8, 2011 by Casey

Thanks a million Jim, keep up the great work man!! Sixx I have to agree, I just got my first 1/16 scale set from Jim today and they are gorgeous. I would like to see him do a few other styles of drag race rims . I would buy and definitely recommend them.
Greg Myers Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I'm at a loss for words. I had a friend that lived down the street that had a complete machine shop in his garage. He did Aerospace work. I never could get him interested in doing something like this. He'd tell me " Go ahead, I wont be using such and such machine for a few days. Way beyond my expertise. Jim you got it.
