Dave Mikrut Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I'm home finally, had a blood clot in my stroke leg. Almost lost my foot but thru the wonders of modern medicine they were able to replace my unrepairable artery in my leg with a synthestic bypass. Thanks to my family for visting me and bringing me their love and stuff that I needed. I'm especially grateful to daughter Aimee and grandson Derrick for cleaning my house and I've come home to my very happy pup Butchy. I can't wait to dive into those recent projects I started but I'm gonna do it if it kills me, hey wait, maybe I better not say that! Once again life is good...for now.
mikemodeler Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Welcome back & home Dave! Hope you stay away from that hospital for a long time and you can get back to building soon.

Guest Johnny Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Clots can be pesky little critters! I have had several over the years after my back surgery. Glad to hear they got you patched back up! Will say you have the right attitude for battling this ailment! Can't wait to see some more of your work!
Dave Mikrut Posted March 10, 2011 Author Posted March 10, 2011 Terry first he jumped around on his hind legs in circles and jumped in my lap and shook like he was so glad to see me and wouldnt get down for a half an hour. ight now he is asleep under my wheel chair.
