Joe Owen Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I am new to model making. I am looking for a source of pre-fabbed, completely assembled, plastic 1:18 or 1:16 scale model cars. The hood, trunk and doors should open. Preferably Nascar or sportscar. Diecast will not work for me.
ra7c7er Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I don't know of any at all. I didn't even know plastic's were made that big.

Junkman Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I have never seen a pre-assembled plastic 1/18 or 1/16 scale model. Tis metal or DIY afaik.
Bastardo Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Pre-assembled 1/18s are among us, guys. I have a Revell's Opel Commodore GS/E: The model is fully plastic and everything can be opened. Revell has some more models in that line, I think they all have the "Composite" word in their description. But I don't think they have any NASCARs...

They ROG and EXPENSIVE for preassembled plastic. But to each their own. Here is a link to the ROG page. http://www.revell.de/index.php?id=880&KGKANR=0&KGKOGP=41&KGSCHL=3&L=1
