mrmike Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 I have finished my F-150 Lightning and it is posting in Under Glass. I would like to thank all those who took the time to view and to comment on my WIP.
Clay Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Hey Mike, did you have to do anything to the wheels to get them to fit under the truck?
mrmike Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 Hey Mike, did you have to do anything to the wheels to get them to fit under the truck? To get the wheels under the fenders, I measured the length of the shaft on the kit wheelsand used that measurement on the Pegasus wheels. Then I shortened the mounting shaft on the wheel and then I drilled out the center of the shaft to fit over the rear axle stubs and spindles on the front suspension. It all worked out quite well that way! Clay, I'll watch for your WIP!
mrmike Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 Now you've got me wondering. What did you do?
