Correction: Avenger not Daytona

I am starting a Revell Avenger funnycar kit and I would like to know if the door lines should be filled, same goes for the hood lines that are molded into the body.

After reading your post, I want and searched Dodge Avenger Funny Cars & then clicked on the images link & checked out some photo's of the Avenger F/C's, from all the pictures I checked it sure looked like all the bodies were smooth, no hood or door lines, so Fill em in!

Guys, Some Funny Car bodies do have door panel lines, they are real small and would not show on a scale model but they are their. Looked at my photos I took at Gateway, you have to look real close on a large pic but they are their.

I do not post photos online but if someone wants me to send them a pic or two I can e-mail them to them.

Thanks.....Dwayne

well I think the rules stipulates that Funny Car bodies must have door and hood lines, most of the NHRA Funny Cars I have seen has them, they are very faint but they are there.

I worked on a lot of 1:1 Avenger funny cars when I worked at mckinney race cars and they all had door and hood lines. All the funny cars that ever were in the shop also had door and trunk lines. I hope this helps.

Dwayne, this kit only had the door lines that I filled in. Don't remember it having hood lines that I can think of.
