robdot Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 i just finished this thing. um..what a piece of ###### the kit was. nothing fit. the rims didnt fit in the plastic wheel, the axles didnt fit into the rims, the way the whole underside is designed makes it very hard to assemble. i did get it together but it was more an excercise in frustration than fun. no way any kid 12 years old would get it together. i have the lil mixer on order, hope its not the same way. any tips on how to fix the axles are too big for these rims thing in case my lil mixer is the same way?
Jon Cole Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 (edited) LoL! When you posted "Lil Yeller", I first thought of... ...which is of course not correct. That would be "Ol' Yellar". No kit of that, I suspect. Is this what you refer to? That would be a very old tool. I built one as a kid; I can barely remember one hour ago, so I cannot help you on kit details. There were several different versions of that show rod kitted; the drivetrains (what there is of it) look similar. Edited March 26, 2011 by Jon Cole

Yes, the Lil Mixer is very similar, sharing many parts with the Lil Yellow kit. There's a reviews in the New Kit Reviews section, so you may want to check that out first.

No kit of that, I suspect. Me too. I would love a kit of that Masaratti & Ferrari killin' junkyard dog.... Sorry, not meaning to hijack. Please return to the Lil' Yeller discussion.
