jhuntsman Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 heres a couple pics of my 37 sedan. wimbeldon white top and testors mythical maroon on the fenders. lowered suspension just about as far as i could, added plug wires, aluminum tube exhaust, parts box chevy rally wheels, bmf around windows and a little on the interior. thanks for looking.
Ryan S. Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 That's a nice, clean hot rod you've got there. Nice choice on the colors. I'm surprised how good those rims look on there. After reading and before looking I wouldn't have thought that they would have worked that well. Well done!
Olds Rocket 88 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Wow... ... Great looking Ford, very nice and love the color's you used.

Canuk Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Great paint job! What did you use to get such a clean line? I am a bit hesitant to try a two tone paint job yet.
jhuntsman Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Great paint job! What did you use to get such a clean line? I am a bit hesitant to try a two tone paint job yet. the body is actually 2 pieces. the fenders/ running boards are one piece and the white body is another piece. the only part i had to tape up was the rear apron on the back of the white body. it is supposed to be the same color as the fenders but its attached to the body. the best thing to use for a 2 tone paint job is to get some of the yellow tamiya tape. pull out a piece the length you need and lay a straight edge on the tape and cut it to about 1/16th inch wide and use that to make the break between the colors. that tape is really nice and dosent leave a thick edge.
