W117monte Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) Its a sox and martin duster my dad built back in the day. Appears to be a 73 or 74, as it has the one piece tail lights. Not much detail on the kit. The rear tires appear to small, and the wheels are slots. It has a nice rake to it though. and one wierd thing, the Valve covers have 5 holes in them? i want try to redo this kit. CAn any one identify the brand of kit by my description? i will post pics if i get a chance. Edited April 1, 2011 by W117monte
Dragracer Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I would think more then likely it's a MPC, I know MPC made most of the P/S models back in the '70's, the 5th hole on the valve cover is a casting goof I would think.
Dan Helferich Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 It sounds like the MPC Sox and Martin kit. The extra hole in the valve cover is for a breather.
Dragracer Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Yeah, I didn't even think of the breather caps for the extra hole, makes sense tho don't it?
