This one is at a truck dealership in Auburndale Florida, so I won't be able to make it down there to get anymore shots.

How cool is this , you did'nt happen to ask what they were asking for it did ya ? Just wondering what an old truck like that goes for in the states .

That's a neet looking old truck. With a little TLC, it'll be just fine. What's that tank behind the cab?

I believe they were asking $5500 for the truck. The tank behind was used for hydraulic oil for a dump trailer.

Here is a shot of a typical Florida rock truck if you're curious as to the setup.

Gee $5,500 seams a bit steep for a truck of that age .

Heres two photo's of the truck and dog tipper that i drive , the left hand fuel tank is half deisel and half hydraulic oil , its a mack vision which gets its name from the slopping bonnett and drop down doors .

nice looking dog you have there. I like the idea of 1 tank that holds half fuel and half hyd oil. I took some pics of a new Western Star at the plant 2 days ago that had one installed.

The only problem with the half tanks is that i've only got two 50 ton hoists and theres too much oil . I'd rather have three quarters for fuel and then i'd still have enough oil on board .The star is different , we dont have that model here in oz .
