crispy
According to the hobby shop owner, this F-15 is factory built and came with this Revell case. Photo's of the case: I apologize for the big gorilla in the pictures and the last two fuzzy pics. Anyway, I've tried to no avail to contact someone at Revell about this case as well as this F-15. I've been told by three people at the hobby shop that this is something that came from Revell. The jet too. The front of the case has a lock and opens by dropping down flat. Both keys are with it. The case is metal framed with glass and mirrored back and bottom. The thing weighs like 40-50 pounds. The "Revell" logo is etched right in the glass. I'm trying to get as much information on these two items that I can. Could someone be able to contact Revell and send these pictures to them? I've tried to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated by anyone. Thanks guys!
Guest zebm1
Might not be anyone still at Revell that remembers it, tha 1:1s were designed and manufactured IIRC in tha late 60s/70s. Replacement airframes for tha Viet Nam types. zeb
Mike
Looks very much like a promotional dealer display. Much like the stuff we'd get from companies when I worked in the music instrument business. If you go to Revell's website, they have phone # you can call for customer service. Took me a bit of digging on the site, but here's the link - http://www.revell.com/Contact-Us.contact_us.0.html
crispy
Mike, Thanks! I'll give them a call with all the numbers listed. I appreciate your effort! I did find out the kit was factory built and the case, well that too is self explanatory. Chris
