Erik Smith Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) What do you do when you just have to paint something? Why, break out that Toyopet model you have! This is a quick little curbside kit. The body looks like a little Buick to me, so I masked off and started painting. Duplicolor Pure White and Light Champagne (left over from 62 Chevy build) Wheels from 64 Prince Super 6 Kimono interior! Trying to get this built - started on Monday, so I am racing along.... RodneyBad Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Keys are in the same place as any other keyboard. You got a better excuse??? There is No Mouse, no right clickie thingie
Erik Smith Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 Oh, corrected the topic spelling. Harry - the kit is from Arii - 1/32 "Owners Club"
Harold Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Is it just me, or would a grille like that look great on a '49 Ford? That Toyopet is a charming design- almost like a 1/8 scale Buick. I like...
Roadkill2525 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 The older cars in the Arii Owners Club series are from LS Japan, Im not sure if the newer cars like the R32 Skyline and RX-7 FD3S are new tools from Arii or last of the one from LS Japan.
charlie8575 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Interesting subject and a nice color scheme. I'll be keeping an eye on this. Charlie Larkin
Jim Gibbons Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Love it! Man, I HAVE to get one of these kits; I love the old obscure imports.
