Greg Myers Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I was wondering how close the '41 Ford is to the '46-'48?Will we be able to swap the '41 clip from AMT to the new Revell?
Chuck Most Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Shouldn't be too tough to do, I've considered trying it myself with the AMT '41 and Revell '48 droptop kits. The '41 hood looks like it might need reshaping to fit against the Revell cowl, but other than that it looks pretty straightforward, aside from a LOT of cutting and test fitting.
Eshaver Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Speaking in 1-1 terms , parts will interchange . Now as to answereing a question in scale , hummmmm, I dunno. Ed Shaver
spad007 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 almost no difference pre WW2 and post war tooling ..as they had to get a car out and were done building jeeps tanks and planes.
