Guest Sickfish Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 G'day guys... Just completed this ACR Viper. It's basically box stock with the addition of the Aston Martin DBS wheels, from the Tamiya kit. Colour is HOK Lime-Time pearl/ Alcad Gloss Black. It's a pretty quick build for me, just on 3wks, because I can never usually finish a kit in under a year Lol! Can honestly say it's by far from my best build & although I'm ok with how it's turned out I'm not overly proud of it. You'll notice the right side rear-view mirror is AWOL ... Because it popped out of the tweezer's when I was trying to stick it in place... It's probably in some dark corner of the hobbyroom somewhere I'll try to find it & add it on when I do The kit itself was ok other than a few fittment issues with the side panels going on after installing the chassis & the chassis fitting flush Didn't really have to do any mods for the wheels to fit, they pretty much slotted straight on Anyway... Here's some pics... Cheers all & thanks for looking, Cliffo
RodneyBad Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I don't think mirrors are all that important on model anywhoos. killer looking Paint job.. Could use a bit more lighting for pics but the wheels and Paint look Darn tootin Great. Very cool looking Ride......
Guest Sickfish Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Thanks Rodney Yeh I know it's not such a big deal, about the mirror, but it just irked me losing it! Next time the Sun is out I'll take some outdoor pics, along with some engine pics too Cheers, Cliffo
