1/8th scale 32 Coupe

I would like to make some Hinges out of Brass sheet and rod material to be able to Open the doors on my E-Duece coupe acn I get some advice on the easiest technicques to form the hinges, About what size they should be, I have access to a shear and bending break.

I suggest you look at catalogs and pictures to get the correct size/measurements, then scale them down to 1/8 scale. Rod & Custom Magazine has done several articles on hidden hinges over the years, with lots of pics.

Are you creating stock or hidden hinges?

Casey, I would like to create stock hinges using an article in MCM magazine illustrated by Jairus Watson. I forget which one but I know I have it.If any others have done something like this it would be breat to hear from you.

Brass doll house hinges work great. Check your yellow pages for (serious) doll house hobby suppliers.
