Rob Hall Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 (edited) Is the box body on the '70s era AMT Ford C600 City Delivery truck similar to that of the often-reissued AMT Ford Louisville Short Hauler? Wondering if I could use the body from the Louisville kit on a C600... Edited June 9, 2011 by Rob Hall
cowboysevens Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 im not positive but i think the ford c600 box truck is shorter then the louisville hauler, but im sure with a lil modification you could make it fit

I have an extra LN Short Hauler in my stash somewhere... I just got in the mail a '70s era C600 City Delivery kit that I got off eBay..was advertised as complete except for the decals, but I found it to be missing the parts for the box as well...at least it was cheap... midwest 1953 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 The box is the same in both kits. The frame in the C-600 box truck has long straight rails like the Louisville and a much longer wheel base than the C-600 Stake truck.
