Another newbie

Well I have been lurking around this site for about 3 days and finally signed up. I Found this site on accident and have enjoyed looked threw tons and tons of pages with everyones builds. I have about 300 kits and I think one built myself "haha" I guess I am a collector but I start on all of them and get irritated and move on to another. I keep saying some day I will finish a few I am trying now.

Oh and also what is "purple pond" I know you guys mean removing paint but what is it exatcly? I have heard of people using bleache white

The "purple pond" is what some people call soaking your painted parts in Purple Power. Purple Power is an industrial de-greaser and detergent that can be used to strip certain types of paint (enamels, mostly).

thats purple power h.d. grease remover ...you can buy it at 4 diff levels of power.. the highest burned me .. therd deg burns 3 weeks to heal... peels paint good and skin olololololololol

WElcome,Jereimiah. You'll find ALOT of stuff here is free for the askin, like advice! The Purple Pond is a nickname for CSC (Castrol Super Clean)a very powerful concentrated degreaser that strips MOST paint beautifully. Welcome to the forum!!!

Thanks guys yeah I have been lurking like I said and really am enjoying site so far. THanks on the purple pond I will try that stuff out this weekend
