I Found this site on accident and have enjoyed looked threw tons and tons of pages with everyones builds. I have about 300 kits and I think one built myself "haha" I guess I am a collector but I start on all of them and get irritated and move on to another. I keep saying some day I will finish a few I am trying now.

Harry P. Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 The "purple pond" is what some people call soaking your painted parts in Purple Power. Purple Power is an industrial de-greaser and detergent that can be used to strip certain types of paint (enamels, mostly).
mr cheap Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 thats purple power h.d. grease remover ...you can buy it at 4 diff levels of power.. the highest burned me .. therd deg burns 3 weeks to heal... peels paint good and skin olololololololol
george 53 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 WElcome,Jereimiah. You'll find ALOT of stuff here is free for the askin, like advice! The Purple Pond is a nickname for CSC (Castrol Super Clean)a very powerful concentrated degreaser that strips MOST paint beautifully. Welcome to the forum!!!
