I did some research and found an Australian resin website that used to carry the cigar-smoking "Rubber Duckie" hood ornament that was used in the movie "Convoy" and the recent "Death Proof", but it appears they don't have it on there for sale anymore. Anyone know where I can obtain TWO of them? I need them for both of Stuntman Mike's cars I'm planning on building. I have a COPO Nova and the Revell '69 Nova I'm going to use for it, and I have three Charger kits (Dukes Of Hazzard, '68 Limited Edition, and the Revell '69) that will go into a General Lee and the Death Proof Charger. I already have a source for the skull and lightning bolts decal for the Nova hood.

Thanks!

Last year, one of our members built that Nova on here! He made that lil car PERFECTLY!!! He had EVERYTHING that the movie car had, the gutted interior, the tractor seat for the passenger, the skull an crossbones on the hood, the rubber duckie on the hood, the WORKS!!! As far as I'm concerned it was a MUSEUM QUALITY build of a FANTASTIC car! I have to admit, I LOVED that movie!!!:P;) ;) ;)

Still waiting to hear from Auslowe as to cost and such.

Flippin' SWEET..........

That project is on hold for more funds before I order that piece, but those pics give me hope mine will look at least half as good. Which Nova kit did that come out of... the COPO, the Yenko, or the Limited Edition?

Yup. This just got bumped up on my priorities build list. I've got both the COPO and LE editions and will SERIOUSLY have to consider doing this one.

Wow!
