fatkidd Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 This is not a fancy or high profile tip...but merely something that I do to help me and thought I would pass it on to the "family" here. When you are doing plug wires and you are using a larger wire's insulation for the boot material... After you have cut the boot material into the lengths that you will be using, slide all of the boots onto a straight pin. It will stretch the insulation just enough to slide easily onto the plug wires. Like I said, nothing fancy, but it works.

Bowtienutz Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Check this site for 90 degree boots http://www.straightlinemodeler.org/tipseng.html
tsanders38 Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I use the Radio Shack 30 AWG wrapping wire and telephone wire for the insulation. You need a pretty good size pin or needle to stretch it to fit.
