Sixx Posted June 13, 2011 Author Posted June 13, 2011 I heard plain ol' water works. Thanks Tommy, thats what I thought I read !! Sixx

seeker589 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I heard plain ol' water works. Your kidding! Would water in a pump bottle work? Does it leave a cloud like the other stuff does when sprayed? I have to try this!
Jon Cole Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I always dump a small amount of baking powder on it. Being a solid, it instantly cures.

I honestly don't know for sure, but somebody had a post about that here not too long ago. It seems (according to whoever it was) that water works just as well as Zip Kicker, but without the wonderful perfumy smell. I've been meaning to try it, but I.....well, I forget stuff.
Von Don Koolkat Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) I heard plain ol' water works. I've heard that moisture degrades the bond, making it weaker. Baking soda with superglue is also a good filler. Zip Kicker (which I often use) can also 'stain' the paint, and soften some types of paints. Edited June 14, 2011 by Von Don
