Custom S-10 Corvette

Here's the progress so far...

First pic of the build...

I chopped the top off

I added a L-88 scoop to the hood

Puttied up the front end

And the tailend

And smoothed it out

Built the 427 BB

I added a Corvette console

Corvette tailights

And made a floating Chevy emblem grill

Let me know what you think...

Thanks Aaron. I'm using the 1/20th scale Lindberg S-10. I've mixed in parts from a 1/20th MPC '78 Corvette kit.

I'm getting closer to finishing this build, but I have 1 problem...

I want to know what everyone's opinion on a color that I could paint this. I thought about blue, purple, candy apple red, maybe a two tone or some other color, but I don't know. Please let me know what color I should paint this.

No that's not me i was just using this for reference(google) so he could see the only paint scheme that this s10vette should be

I like mixing kits up like this.

I have a 53-06 Ford Mustang truck

and a 41-69 Camaro truck that I need to finish.

I like yer truck so far Marshall. I think you should paint it a Metalic Copper with a black scoop on it with black stripes. But what ever you do will be just fine my friend. Dan

Paint it whatever your heart tells you. Since it is so smooth and modern on the outside, I would make it a nice red and just put a couple of white stripes on the fender (ala Grand sport) to give a subtle nod to the Corvette parts in it

Thanks. The sanding isn't too bad. Mostly putty to sand down and shape.
