Hi everyone. Life has been really busy, the reason I haven't been around much, but I have managed to get some building done.

This is my new build I've been working on for a few weeks now, (I'm definitely getting slower in my old age), and thought I should try and do another WIP.

It's a semi custom VW Karmann Ghia, basically wheels and exhaust mods.

I've had to make the rear wheel tubs bigger to accommodate the larger rear wheels.

The stance should be about actual when finished, as long as I have my measurements correct. The rear is right anyway.

Colours are down to two choices, but I want to get chassis finished before making a decision.

Engine will be standard, I was going to try and add a turbo, but I think I will just add a custom muffler. See pics for the idea.

Also worked on the front suspension as well.

Have finally got the engine done. Unfortunately, the distributor has to be installed later once the tub goes on.

The body has been painted, Testors Bright Aqua Pearl with Zero Grand Prix White for the roof.

Cleared with Zero 2K, but a really bad job, so it has been taking a lot of polishing to get it smooth.

Thanks for looking, comments are welcome.

Looking good. I love that body! Just saw a nice Ghia at the Citrus County Cruisers drive in show last night. Couldn't miss it because it was chrome yellow.
