Barbo Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Hi...this is my version of the LI'L YELLER by AMT. I did some modifications to the model: Cut down the side window panels , Cut open the door , Bus driver , Rear rubber tires , painted the windows with Tamiya clear red. The kit has great decals , but no space for the school name decal , so I built two small side panels below the windows for the decals.....Barbo. Miguel, I added codes so your pictures show. Also, is Boondock a spanish word? - moderator
Harold Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Cool truck. Bus. Rod. Boondock is probably from the southern hills of the US- when somebody lives in the remotest corner of the woods, they're referred to as 'living in the boondocks'.
cruz Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I just bought the re-issue of this model, I think they are cool 8) 8) Nice job on yours man...............
RodBurNeR Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Nice work! I have never seen this kit built. Would you mind if i add this to my archives? www.thedpmcc.com/instructionsintro.html admin@thedpmcc.com thanks!
Barbo Posted April 19, 2007 Author Posted April 19, 2007 Hi.....and thanks for all your comments , The word 'Boondock' is not a spanish word, is a very old word that refers to a rural, brushy and remote area or community. This model kit include this decal , so I use the figures 'SOUL JAHS' by Steve James. I think these figures add a great realisim to the diorama. There is no problem in using any photo of my models, awbcrazy . Thank you Gregg for the codes......Barbo
