I've been modeling off and on since I was fourteen. I haven't built a new in a year or so, and I just got back into doing it again. Here's a few pics of what I've been working on. It's an amt 49 kit, and so far it's been a little problematic. When I first started fitting some pieces together, I had orginally planned to use the tooth grill from a donated 49 merc kit. Well, after trying it on, I changed my mind. I found a pic of a 49 ford online that I'm basing this on.

So far, I haven't done a whole lot to it. I shaved all the trim off, opened the doors and truck, and that's just about it so far. The wheels are from the merc kit, but I'm going to use different caps.

Hey, Gary, I can't see the pics. But when I copy the link without those image codes, and paste it to a new tab, then I can see that your project looks amazing! The 1:1 car is great too, you can't go wrong with this subject.

EDIT: Now I can see your pics, but they didn't work at the morning B) .
